Practice in Persistence
Updated: May 19
What if I told you the real avenue to success? Would you believe me?
There is honestly and truly only one avenue to achieve everything you’ll ever want out of life. I pinky promise you I am not kidding. There is one thing that is required to achieve anything in this life and one thing that will determine success or failure.
It isn’t money. It isn’t power. It isn’t inheritance or family or looks. It’s PERSISTENCE.
Don’t believe me? Take an honest look at every single TRULY successful person that you have ever known or known of. What one thing do they all have in common? Persistence. Successful people have known more failure and heartbreak than most, but they don’t let it stop them. They push forward, past the pain, failure, betrayal, loss, and whatever other trials they’ve faced. They see it, deal with it, and keep moving forward with their goals firmly in their line of sight.
It’s easy to lose focus and get stuck, but successful people don’t allow themselves to stay there. Sure, they may take a day off to watch The Notebook and ugly cry into a carton of Ben and Jerry’s, but then they pick themselves up and try again. And again. And again. And again.
Rejection breeds resilience and determination. This may sound like a foreign concept, but think on it for just a moment. The most successful people also generally have a past full of rejection. You don’t need everyone to believe in you. You just need one. Yourself. But just so you know, we believe in you too. Go out there and rock it. #YouveGotThis
